  9. I am 14 day post op. I have been drinking six star chocolate Isolate whey protein powder. I mix with water or almond milk. I am lactose intolerance. It did give me gas the 1st week.i would take GAS X the start of day and walk around and that help me. NOW i have no problem with gas when drinking it or mixing with Yogurt. Maybe because the gas issue is gone from surgery.
  10. I am 14 days post op and feel great!!! Starting soft foods today. I am so glad I had this surgery. It was not as bad as I was so scared it would be. I faithfully did a lot of walking which works for gas pain. I am now going to gym on treadmill and elliptical which I was cleared to do. Just no lifting yet. Iam losing weight very well. I had no vomiting. I told anesthesiologist to give me something for that and he did. Dr. Told me to bring Gas X strips to hospital and I did. They work good. I had all that fear for nothing. I am taking one day at a time.
  11. Can drinking fluid every 5-10 mins Stretch sleeve even if you empty Out a lot?
  12. Correction: I am 13 days post op. I start soft food tomorrow.
  13. Yes! I have felt good since 2 hrs after surgery which was 23 days ago. I am doing everything I am suppose To do. I was cleared to go to gym and use treadmill and elliptical but no weights yet. I'm on pureed until tomorrow than onset food. Only thing I didn't like was tuna fish at this stage. It felt heavy going down. But other than that, things seem to be OK.,[emoji3]!
  14. Yes taking antacid capsule did kinda hurt at first. But the 2 ND week I was told to open capsule and mix with unsweetened applesauce which works perfectly. My multi vitamin is chewable in which I crush will fine. My calcium &Mag. Is liquid.
  15. Congratulations [emoji3]!
  16. I hope he does not continue to do this! He should respect your decision on trying to get your health in order. Maybe he needs to understand how important this is to you. What is he going to do once you have surgery? Honestly., he would be considered a enabler.
  17. I was told protein drinks does not count as water intake. But jello and Popsicles does.
  18. I did not have any issues from day 1. I was able to drink everything on my tray in hospital. I did not vomit at all. I rather get my liquids in and protein than to wand up in the ER From dehydration. If you are sipping more than stomach can hold at one time, Your stomach will let you know.
  19. I am 12 days post op. It is OK. I asked that question to the DR and I was told your sleeve won't stretch with fluid you need. Actually I am in the bathroom all day emptying out.
