  1. I just had my 5/6 wk weigh-in yesterday. I feel like I am at a plateau, which the NP says is normal in weeks 3/4 and 5/6. After a 24 lb weight loss thru week 2, I was so disappointed in my minimal loss moving forward. My total loss to date is 31 lbs. I am trying to stay positive and continue moving forward eating correctly-hopefully, I will set start losing faster again soon! My husband has to remind me, slow wt loss is better for the long term and keeping it off! 3 lbs in 2 weeks x 26 was would be 78 lbs in a year, which w/b amazing!!!
  2. Eating out becomes about socializing rather than the food! I always get 2or 3 meals out of one meal in a restaurant!
  3. I had my surg 3/2. Very tiny probes+1 in. at belly button. Never had any pain, never took a pain med & no evidence of scars now at week 4! I had no drains-what are they for and how long were they in? I feel very lucky after reading a lot of he comments from others. I just began normal foods and so far no issues!
  4. I hated chewing those giant tablets!
  5. I am such a dummy! They are chewable & I was trying to take them with water!!! They are still pretty gross, but chewing is better than trying to swallow a penny!!
  6. Has anyone broken the big vitamins in half to get them down?
  7. Dr. Matthew Brengman did mine on 3/2! All went great and I have not taken one pain pill. Great experience!
  8. Do the Bariatric Best Multivitamins mentioned above need to be ordered on-line?
  9. Pickles at 8 days? I was on liquids for two weeks!
  10. I am 3 weeks post op. I cannot imagine even considering a cruise while on Liver Reduction. Good luck-good food is everywhere!
  11. I really like Premier Protein. I am tired of it, but it is really good!!
  12. I had my sleeve 3/2. All went really well. I have not had to take even one pain pill! I hate this liquid diet! I am not particularly hungry, just miserable! 8 more days of this!!!!!! Need a spirit booster!
  13. BM , not BMW, ha!!
  14. I had my surg last Thursday, and I have not taken even one pain pill since I got home, nor have I needed anything for indigestion. I am shocked! I do have rumblings in my tummy, but it's not painful. Mostly, I am hungry and have not had a bowel movement since the day of surg! My husband says there is nothing but liquids, so a BMW is not needed?? Anxious to talk to drs off today, Monday.
  15. Love Premier Protein
  16. Thank you! They really stressed that in the hospital! I have scoliosis, so my walking is in sports as I need my cane. I try to get up every hour and take a lap around my house, as it's too cold to go outside yet!!
  17. I had my sleeve 3/2 and came home yesterday, around noon! My procedure was uneventful and I had 0 pain afterwards! They kept me pretty medicated I guess. Today, however, I find there is a little discomfort, as the hosp meds from yesterday wear off. Tylenol helped, but I do have Something stronger that was prescribed if I need it!! so far so good!! Just doing lots of sipping!
  18. My surgery was 3/2-came home today! It feels so good to be back in my comfortable chair!! I am, however, confused about my intake, but I suppose I will get the hang of it!!
