  1. My out of pocket portion is $2400 which is due to the hospital the day of surgery. They are letting pay 60% and the rest after surgery
  2. I was approved in a week and got my date 2 days after my approval... I got to choose my date
  3. The only people that know is my hubby and my mom. My children don't even know. I will tell them a few days before my surgery date (March 20th) but I'm going to tell them I'm having my gallbladder removed. I don't want them telling the whole church and all there teachers, coaches and friends. Honestly I don't care what people think BUT I still don't want people all in my business. I can hear it now "You weren't even big"...... Yeah yeah yeah.

  7. I have BCBS TX and it took one week. Everything was submitted on Valentines Day and I was approved on the 21st of Feb. My surgery is March 20th. Just be patient and pray..   10. Hello, Here's my timeline... Jan 23- First Consult Feb 6- Appt. W/Nutritionist &Psych Eval. Feb 14- Paperwork Submitted to insurance (BCBS TX) Feb-21 Approved Feb- 23 Received a surgery date of March 20th Mar 4-Gallbaldder Ultrasound Mar 6- EGD Mar 9-Registration @ hospital and pre-op appt. W/surgeon Mar 17-19 3 day liver shrinking diet Mar 20-SURGERY WHHOOO HOO Even though everyone's insurance and surgeon is different I hope this helps a little bit.... FYI I called my insurance company everyday LOL
  11. I have a 18 yr old, 15, 12, 10... I haven't told them because they will tell the entire church, school etc and I'm just not ready to disclose my personal business. My surgery is on the 20th so I'm going to tell them I had Gallbladder surgery.
  12. I just left the hospital from having my EGD done... Quickest thing ever!!! Thank God because I was a little nervous. Next stop, surgery....
  13. You look GREAT!!!! Do you work out often? If so how frequently and what type of exercises?

  15. Oh no hopefully that won't push your EDG back. I just had my GB ultrasound today and my EDG Is Monday as well... Did you have any symptoms of gallstones?
