  1. I average around 80 oz a day. I drink several bottles throughout the day and have coffee for A.M. and some iced tea also. A glass around an hour before bed.
  2. I will throw in my dose of admiration also!!!
  3. It sounds like your main concern is port infection. I really think you need to talk to your doctor and get his statistics, we cant tell you if you are at an increased risk for infection or not.....he can. Good luck with whatever course you decide on.
  4. "My new doc.... He told me he would have never put a band in me and would have done another surgery." This is what jumped out at me in your post. I cant imagine any credible doctor performing ANY kind of WLS on someone with a BMI under 30 that weighs 168 lbs. Was your new doc suggesting that bypass would have been a better option for you? That is truly frightening.
  5. I remember having issues with cold water also, try room temp and see if it helps. Also, it is very easy to take rather large sips of water without realizing it. Make sure you are taking micro-sips at this stage, just enough to trickle down your throat. Hope you bounce back soon!
  6. OMG!!! I got one of those anti-NSVs, so dont feel totally alone: A coworker tells me "Wow, you look like you have lost more than that, you were getting pretty big" Ummm,,,thank you, I think:confused:
  7. That was hilarious!!! I know almost ALL those songs!

Oops...that's right! I still see a very very successful future for Chris.

I have a feeling Taylor will win. But wont Chris be on tonite? I will watch the entire 2 hours just to see him sing ONE song again, lol! I pathetically adored him and still think he will be the biggest star of them all (fingers crossed). Has the 3rd place person ever surpassed the winner and second?
  10. C 190 (-39 total, -2 this week) The scale FINALLY budged again after a 2 week stall. I've really tried to track my calories and get a grip. I resorted to measuring my food all day yesterday, I think I need a tweak on my fill....but it will have to wait until school is out, which for me is June 2. I was able to eat a whole 8oz Salisbury steak patty last night! I ate a small bite at a time until I got that little sigh and burp, and it happened with ONE bite left of the whole darn thing....so my food weight experiments confirm need for fill. I guess I will be going hungry or losing slowly until then. My good news for the week...!!!....I bought denim and black capris, a black skirt, and another swimsuit and there isnt a W by any of the sizes! Just solid size 16 misses!!!! Hope everyone has a great week!
  11. How funny,,,I didnt even know there was a name for those posters. I guess ignoring them would be the wisest thing. Thanks for sharing!

  15. If you dont like the content of a thread, or simply dont agree, MOVE ON! It is that simple folks.....everything doesnt have to be a battle of who is right or wrong.

  17. Since you are just one week out my totally uneducated guess would be residual gas pains. I had them for about 2 weeks. I dont know how severe the pain is....but as Vines said, call your doc for reassurance. Better safe than sorry!
  18. Congratulations on raising such a good boy with a strong sense of ingegrity!!
  19. I was also banded by Dr. Sanchez and was totally pleased with every aspect of the surgery.
  20. I had insane swelling and was in the hospital for 3days/2nights until I could get some fluids down and get off the I.V. I honestly didnt feel that bad though, and if it werent for the swelling I would have been a simple overnight and released the next morning.
  21. Congrats on your phenomenal loss!!! I also would like a sample of what your daily menu is like and what kind of exercise you are doing!
  22. I love the Subway wraps, but I dont eat them often. The Turkey Breast Wrap is probably the best choice nutritionally (this is without dressing): 190 calories 6g fat 18g carbs 24g Protein I can only eat half of one so I figure 95 calories and 12g protein is a really healthy lunch choice as far as "fast food" type places.
  23. Wonderful! Congrats!
  24. lianna replied to Nykee's topic in The Lounge
I love yoooou!!!! Nykee you understand that there are many more variables..... I agree with EVERY single thing that is said on the "other Post". BUT...being diabetic, having IR aand PCOS (me)and a yo-yo diet guru, there ARE other factors that will determine our success and rate of loss. I am NOT making excuses....I know from the past 33000 attempts that I dont lose fast. Kuddos to those who do........but it aint me. I would love tips also!
  25. Montana Glitterthong.......lmao
