I feel the same way, I have a tool and I am not using it. Need to get my head back in weight loss mode. I lost about 50 lbs five years ago post surgery and have regained 30! I need to focus and get back on track. I'll be check on you Maggie, Good luck Maureen
  2. I'm so glad you mentioned the slim. I get an overproduction of saliva and sometimes slim, when I eat to fast or too much. I can tell when I should stop eating I feel a tightness in my chest. I still have not had a fill. Banded 12/26/07 and have lost 45 lbs. I have a fill appt. on May 30th. I'm doing it because I have started to crave sugary, junk food.
  3. I don't know what to say. I was banded on 12/26/07, I have lost 42 lbs with no fills. I definitely think everyone reacts differently. I have had a lot of problems with PB's and I have to really be careful about what I eat and how fast. I can't imagine having a fill and not being able to get food down. Even though I supposedly don't have any restriction with no fills, I think something is keeping the food from going down like it used to.
  4. Thank you for this information. I was banded on Dec. 26th '07. I haven't had a fill yet, but have lost 36lbs. I am having problems adjusting to the new eating habits. It has been difficult to chew and eat slowly. I have major problems with PB's. I know I still have to work on this and am reluctant to get a fill until I have this under control. I am wondering if I should just get a fill and see what happened, or keep going like I have been.
  5. I was banded in Dec. '07, I went for my first fill about 6 weeks after the surgery. The MD interviewed me and decided that I didn't need a fill (not the surgeon). I was losing weight and I have been having problems with PB (productive burping). So, it is now 10 weeks and I have lost 30 lbs. without a fill, do you think I should go for one and see what happens? I still have problems eating too fast and not chewing enough. But I am happy with my weight loss. Any tips for my PB problems. I'm worried that a fill will make it worse!!!
