  1. There are a lot of variables, but I was concerned after surgery and with my age (late thirty's at the time). I went work lab work on at 40 and all I had was low vitamin d. I think it's going to be an individual thing, but don't forget that there's a lot of hormones stored in fat and the rapid weight loss will release a lot of testosterone, it definitely did for me
  2. Contracts are only as good as the parties involved. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Exactly, most of the attention I've received has been from women with significant others. It really starts to make you wonder about relationships in general. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. I ha some severe swelling in one leg, due to fluid and some lymphedema in both legs. The swelling is gone, but the discoloration is still there. It doesn't look awesome, but it's not hindering me like the swelling was. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I went through the 6 month thing also. Use it as a way to get acclimated to the program. I started at around 515 or so and got down to the surgery weight. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. My surgery weight was 470, I'm down to about 355 with the sleeve, I want to get down to 250. It can be done with the sleeve, but it may require more work. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Just hit the 350s here. Started at 640. It feels awesome don't it?! I can't wait to hit the 2's. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I'm only about 6 months put, but still at around 800 calories max also. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. Two rules: 1. Be attractive. 2. Don't be unattractive. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Yep, a lot of hormones are stored in fat. As you lose, there it is. Once you are down to your goal weight if you feel a significant drop though I would ask my doc to check my levels, don't want to go from awesome to depressed. Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Glad I found this thread! I started off years ago (around 2010). Realized I had managed to get up to around 640+ pounds. I was very lucky as my only co-morbidity turned out to be sleep apnea. I started trying to lose the weight and had the usual 'ups and downs'. I got down to around 520 by last May and decided to get the sleeve. I got down to about 480 during the six month weight. And I'm down to 446 since the surgery (1-23-17). So far so good. I think I hit my first stall, but I can't weight to get back to lifting and boxing. I think the results I always missed before! The info on these forums has been an invaluable tool! Sent from my Nexus 6P using the BariatricPal App
