    When Did You Eat Pizza?

Im 3 months out. I can eat anything, but I avoid most including fried foods. I can eat thin crust chicken pizza. Chew slow and thoroughly. My sleeve is sturdy as well. The most is a small slice. Medium or Large slice is a no no. Tie Hill Samsung S6+

    Alcohol

Alcohol is not supposed to be consumed for several months out. One guy said he got ulcers from alcohol. https://www.google.com/amp/guidedoc.com/8-foods-to-avoid-post-bariatric-surgery-diet/amp Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  3. I'm 39 and my Bday on Valentines Day. I'm 3 week post surgery. My BM are different. I suppose it is normal so my body can adjust. No complications Thank GOD. I do have way more energy now. I still track all the food I eat with my S Health App as I started Jan 16. My skin is starting to sag a lil. I can go to the Gym yet, but I walk about 2 mikes a day so my legs are firming up. My cousin wife is 1 year post surgery. She has some sag but not as much. She is considering surgery (You know women) to get her ideal look. Tie Hill Samsung S6+

When will i feel normal again

I'm 3 weeks out and feel 80% Normal. I have a large abdomen that is slowly shrinking. No pains at all. I can now bend over to trim my toe nails again without my stomach feeling weird. I still take it slowly to not over do it. I haven't had to take a pain med since I left the hospital. I sleep on my side so it took about two weeks before my stomach felt normal. Tie Hill Samsung S6+

How do you handle people asking questions

Noooo. I told everyone about my surgery. Some were happy and most were skeptics. I didn't care my mind was made up. Now, the 8 months before my surgery I did embark on a 2000 calorie or less Life meal plan. I hate saying diet. I lost a lot of weight. When I started I was 489. Pre surgery weight was 421. People would ask all sorts of questions. The worst would be all the "Let me share this tip for you to lose weight" weight loss advice that was totally unwanted. Most of the time I would shut em down and say "What I'm doing is working for me so Thank You". If I felt a person question was too personal I would shut it do and tell em I don't feel comfortable telling you that. I had a stomach hernia as well and my surgeon said it didn't interfere with surgery. 3 weeks after surgery and I'm under 400 lbs. Good luck with your surgery and your New Life Journey Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  6. I had the challenge of having to lose 8 lbs in two weeks. At first I got mad because I thought I finally made it to the finish line and something else came up to foil my attempt to finally having the surgery. But then I said Leggo and got ready for the next challenge. What made it easy was the S Health app on my Samsung Galaxy S6Edge +. I track everything I eat. The months before I was on a 1800 calorie or less meal plan. To lose these next 8lbs I went down to 1200-1500 calories. I still had Cookies, cake, and etc. The biggest change up was I cut back to 1 day with a fried meal, and all the rest was grilled fish or chicken. No red meats. No Juices and sodas, not even diet sodas. Seeing your calorie intake make this journey so much easier. I hope this help. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR JOURNEY! Tie Hill Samsung S6+

    First Appointment!

I had Aetna which required 90 Day Supervised Diet where 1 pound would have ruined the Surgery. At first I thought it was a BS process. You do learn more about yourself and why you over eat. I replaced a lot of bad habits and lost about 60lbs from May 16 to my surgery 1/17. Learn more about you and what you mentally need to get ready. I'm a suler emotional eater so I eat hard, bit by the surgery date I got almost over it all and was eating 6 small meals a day under 1600 to 1800 calories a day. I learned so much from the process of juggling calories. The biggest help was S Health from my Android. It helped me out a lot. Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  8. I'm hella jealous. I can't have a scrambled egg until my 1 week post op visit in 2 days. I tried a ptotein shake or cream of chicken soup and my stomach flipped knots. I'm back to Jello, Water, and Popsicles. I said the heck with food. Maybe I can add mor water to the Protein powders Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  9. You will be fine. 39 M and just had my surgery 6 days ago. You will start to get nervous and will start to question your decision. I started my research Jan 2016. I started at 490 and lost a considerable amount of weight by my surgery date. I started making life chages early. My cousin wide and a few coworkers did the surgery. At the day of my surgery I was 421. Now I'm 409. The 2 week liquid Diet is a monster. But, you keep your focus. It was worth it. The after surgery recovery is REAL. I used Bariatric Advantage shakes. Stay focused of the life you know you are going to have. My suggestion is used a food tracker app to help in the mental prep and keep your calories under 1800. You will learn how to space meals and Snacks all day. Fast food are calorie dense so avoid them. Go luck & stay focused. Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  10. This is my first day after surgery. The swallow test went well. My stomach still fell queezy, but I feel great. Just walked the hospital floor twice. Balance is good. Ready for the rest of this Weight loss journey. Tie Hill Samsung S6+

  12. That's when you drink this liquid and they xray your digestive track to see how that Fluid go down to see if you have any leaks in your new stomach sleeve. Tie Hill Samsung S6+
  13. Good job. I just had my surgery. Glad to hear that you are doing well. I've lost 70 lbs since I started investigating doing the sleeve since Feb 2016. I had my surgey at 418. I'm happy you lost the "food Edge". I hope I get the same. Tie Hill Samsung S6+

    Aetna POS

I have the most Expensive Aetna plan with my job. I only had to do a 90 Day Supervised Diet where you cant gain 1 pound. As far as Endoscopic Testing I didn't have to. We had a pre-approved amount including for my skin tightening option if I needed. My out of pocket towards the surgery was minimum. Tie Hill Samsung S6+
