  1. Mine let me use Flintstones with Iron chewable also and I take two daily
  2. Great way of thinking I am going to start the habit of only eating foods with nutritional value also and stay strict with it. Your pics look awesome great job.
  3. I used to hate it at first also so I cut it in half and it was easier to get used to I hardly need a whole package to sweeten anything and now I use it for everything. It takes time but sugar will be something you won't be craving as you keep adding protein to your diet. Good luck!
  4. So after wls of any kind your answer was to just eat sliders for two years? Not trying to be rude but you weren't pregnant for two years so you had time to go to the doctor especially if you were throwing up for two years. Just saying this is a prime example for anyone considering wls to keep in contact with their doctors and ask questions, or find a new doctor seems like a lot of excuses just to eat sliders.
  5. I have a little hair loss anyway and I use a light brown hair spray concealer and you can't even tell.
  6. People that are on meds are given VGS to help with absorption of medications
  7. caffeine dehydrates you and you won't hydrate properly. If your urine is dark its because you are straining your kidneys and thats the last thing you want to happen because your body is already going thru a drastic change.
  8. Why in the world would you eat sliders for 2years before seeking help from your doctor I will be sticking to my diet because I only want this surgery one time only. I can't even understand if insurance would pay for it a second time, insurance is paying for everything except the nut classes which I paid 15.00 a month for six months.
  9. Walmart has Body Fortress Advanced Whey, the chocolate is the best and it has 30 gms protein and its actually pretty good or you could use premier protein shakes, they are good also and have 30 gms protein also per container. good luck!
  10. Chicago, I used to live in Aurora.
  11. Anyone know how long it takes for Aetna to approve surgery once they get the papers.
  12. my mom is totally against it also, but at 55 I have tried to lose for the last few years, I would lose and regain over and over. I am totally healthy and there is no reason I should not have it. I'm looking forward to it and its going to be a rough ride at first but I really want my body back and get healthy at the same time no matter how many horror stories my mom comes up with.
  13. My nutritionist says I also need a liquid protein to add to water or juice, and I need one to add to things like pureed foods please let me know which ones taste the best and where you bought them.
  14. click on the circle with the + sign
  15. Great pics, great job!
  16. Lots of love, get well soon
  17. I can't even believe this is your main concern before having a major surgery. You're not going on a date you're having surgery.
  18. How do I get into this to see the protein info?
  19. My mom is also completely against this surgery and has asked people at her work about it and all she tells me is horror stories about it but my drs are awesome and there are more successful stories than bad ones so im going for it, I've tried doing it her way for the past three years and gotten nowhere, I am just looking for some extra help and an extra tool to help me there. I'm going for it hopefully in April. [emoji3]
  20. My insurance requirement was also six months of meetings and approvals from all my drs and a couple of theirs. I now know that it takes about six months just to learn everything about this diet change that we are learning how to make all the appropriate changes.
  21. I'm done with my nut dr. on the 20th March and hope to get surgery in april but more likely may, they were really good at getting all my appointments done by that time so thats my last visit to get my date. I am older, short 4'11", sw 238, now about 210 or a little less, and feeling anxious also.keep me posted please.
  22. I have one case of strawberry and yes they are too sweet, I added ice and a little splash of 2% milk it helped.
