  19. Sick before surgery

    I had a urinary tract infection and sore throat 5 days before thw day of surgery. Some HUGE antibiotic taken faithfully along with plenty of rest and water.     @beebee17 My surgeon also told me no gum. Guess it doesn't digest quickly or completely if accidentally swallowed so can create difficulties. Even after 5 years, it is still strongly discouraged. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using BariatricPal mobile app
