    Delaware Sleevers

Hi, I'm 11 months out and live in northern DE. Dr Irgau did my surgery. He is great!
  2. I was told not to have them. Too many carbs.
  3. I have either pb on Coco multigrain pop cakes or a protein shake.
  4. Yes! Almost every night. Some nights I give in and have something. [emoji20]

    Pasta

My nut said the only carbs to have are the natural kind. I am 11 months out and have had one forkful of pasta. I miss it. Maybe because I'm Italian and grew up with it. Idk. I have no idea who's correct. I just know that I would like a small portion with my protein every so often. [emoji45]
  6. I had the same problem. My doctor said it was from my arms being spread out for so long. He said give it time. I did and no more pain. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    MARCH SLEEVERS

@@OzRoo I'm glad they got you back on track. Inches mean a lot. That's awesome! The pounds will be next. That's a good idea about putting the medicine on the night stand. I'm going to try it. Thanks. Have an enjoyable holiday! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

They did say to go there. I don't live that close to Christiana Hospital. Besides traffic is horrible around there this time of year. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Thank you for the website. I'll check it out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Delaware Sleevers

Hi, Today I joined this group. I had sleeve surgery on March 7th at Wilmington Hospital. I have lost 76 lbs. Dr. Irgau was my surgeon. Absolutely love him! A friend recommended Dr. Wynn, but she wasn't available when I wanted. I'm so glad that I decided to go with him. I'm not saying Dr. Wynn isn't good. I'm sure she is. Just I am so pleased with his mannerism and his professionalism. I have a couple barriers: - My family support system is basically gone. They were great a first. Not too much any more. I've talked to them and I get that I know what to do or I'm old enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Ugh!! - I have a thyroid disease with large nodules that may need surgery. This is causing very slow weight loss. - I have leg problems that makes exercising / walking difficult. Does anyone know if there are support groups in the northern Wilmington area? Any ideas are definitely welcomed. Thank you for listening!

    MARCH SLEEVERS

OzRoo, I too have an auto-immune thyroid disease. Now I found out I have 2 large nodules causing problems. I may need surgery. I had surgery on March 7th. Last week I lost 80 lbs. This week I gained 4! I was so upset. I was trying to figure out how could this of happened. Then I realized that I was so busy baking for Christmas that I haven't been taking my meds. What a relief. Now I can get back on track. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    stomach burn

I know what you mean. I get burning while drinking most drinks. It started about a month ago. It's definitely not reflux. In a couple of weeks I will see my doctor. I'll post what he tells me.
