  1. The closer I'm getting the more excited I am, so just give it some time. I just have a sleep study left and that is scheduled for the 18th. Just try every day to research and start making better food choices-during the last couple months I've had ups and downs, but now I have a good meal plan and exercise routine so I hit my surgery weight and get in better shape for when I recover. You got this!
  2. Two years ago I had my body fat percentage taken with calipers and a BIA when I weighed 386. My results surprised me but I am still skeptical of those readings. My caliper test came in at 23% with 86lbs of fat and the BIA scale came in at 24%. I'm wanting to know if anyone my size has been able to fill out any loose skin where it's not that noticeable?
  3. I'm from Vancouver and looking for a group to meet on the weekends, I'm still waiting for my surgery date at OHSU, haven't decided on the doctor yet either.
  4. I'm getting my surgery done at OHSU, still deciding on which doctor. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Hopefully your knee feels better without surgery. I didn't really have a choice since I hurt my knee at work-well I did have a choice. My knees snap, crackle, and pop from all the wear and tear from sports and work
  6. Nice! Your Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have 2 more appointments left
  7. I had a my medial meniscus repaired in September '14 followed by 4 cortisone injections and an arthrogram before having my second surgery in September '15 repairing both medial and lateral meniscus-my medial re-tore. I'm crossing my fingers haha.
  8. I'm in Washington but Vancouver is right across the river from Portland.
  9. Hello everyone, new to the forums, I have 2 appointments left until I get a surgery date. I was wondering if anyone on here is from the Portland-Vancouver area that has had the surgery or is going to have the surgery
  10. Has anyone here had meniscus repairs in the past and did the pain go away after loosing weight from getting the sleeve?
