Hello everyone, new to the forums, I have 2 appointments left until I get a surgery date. I was wondering if anyone on here is from the Portland-Vancouver area that has had the surgery or is going to have the surgery

Got ya!. I'm originally from Washington. I'm now in Idaho. I'm sure you will find locals in your area on BP. Your surgeons office might have local support groups. Hope you find the support you need.

I'm up in the Tacoma area, my surgery is Dec 30. Just cleared last requirement today, whew

I'm from SW Washington and have my first appt with my internist to get a referral for gastric bypass. I'll be having my surgery in Portland Kaiser. Best of luck with your upcoming surgery.
