After all, when I watch Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, they always agree with each other -- which logically means they're right, right?

No, but Obama supporters expect to be paid by Obama should he win the election, that's for sure. FYI, McCain was my last choice for a Republican candidate -- literally last in the primaries -- but he is head and shoulders above Obama, which is why I'm supporting the ticket.

Are you saying the Libertarian Party isn't properly defining itself? My "true experience" is that I was once registered Libertarian. It has nothing to do with being able to google. :eek: A libertarian, or sometimes known as a Classical Liberal, is someone who believes in individual rights and minimal government interference in personal lives. We have an employee who's such a nice young man. We asked him the other night if he could come over and help us move a heavy desk around (I have a bad back). Not only did he happily come over, but he gave me a hug and thanked my husband for giving him a job. We're not "the rich getting richer"; we're struggling to get along just like everyone else. But with this positive, can-do attitude, I'm confident this young man is going places. The problem with this philosophy is that study after study after study has shown that throwing money at the public school system doesn't make it a better system.

One who has, should give. They shouldn't be forced to or required to give. What you did isn't socialism in any sense of the word; it's charity. If people choose not to give, it's not up to us to require them to do it. In both cases, a transaction takes place; in one, you give. In the other, it is taken from you. What you did is right and commendable, but how would you feel if someone withdrew that money and those resources from you just because they felt you had adequate means to give (whether you felt you did or not is inconsequential -- what matters is their arbitrary definition of your wealth)?

How about just some facts. Obama was rated the most liberal senator in the US Senate (that would be #1 for those of you whose parents weren't rich enough to send you to a private school). Biden was rated #3, just ahead of Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, who is a self-avowed SOCIALIST (oh -- is that a bad word?). The ratings are from the National Journal and based on actual votes (not opinion) (see NATIONAL JOURNAL: 2007 Vote Ratings (03/07/2008) for more information). I dunno. Someone whose votes make him more liberal than a socialist would be, um, another socialist.

Sarcasm can be instructive. The Lord has not taken anything away; my instructive sarcasm does not take away a baby that was slated for death from life and a deserving family. But thanks anyway for your backhanded compliment.

Yup, because there's something that happens as the "tissue" passes through the vaginal canal; it "magically" transforms from being "tissue" to being a baby. It wasn't a baby before that, but it is a baby afterwards. There must be magic dust or something in the vagina that bestows life. Gosh, I wonder if my kids are even alive at all; I had two c-sections, so they didn't get any of the magic dust.

Thanks, guys, but I really didn't do anything other than connect two families. God (or "coincidence", if you don't believe in God) used me to simply make one person aware of another. I am so blessed to have been involved, but in terms of actually "doing" something, I didn't really do much. The birth mother and the adoptive parents get all the hard work. So kudos to them!

Wheetsin, if you take fenugreek it will increase your milk production. Get a good quality pump and, when you're away from the baby, always pump on schedule. That should keep you producing regularly; it's when you start to skip feedings and/or pumpings that your body starts to produce less because it thinks you're weaning.
