  1. I think they actually taste better post surgery when you are on liquids and your choices are limited. Banana creme is yummy!

  3. Curious.... How has your BP been since surgery?
  4. My doctor recommended ISOPURE. Got it at GNC. Needed 80 grams of protein a day, so 2 bottles every day. Did that for 4 days when I got home from surgery. Started full liquids today.
  5. My doc has me on 80 grams of protein daily.

  7. I also am witholding the truth. I'm going with an appendectomy. BUT realistically, people are going to know.

  9. Just finished the liquids. Had my surgery Tuesday. The liquids were VERY difficult. A few times I had small bites of food. But I can tell you this. Those cravings and hunger pains are GONE post op. Any time I felt hungry I had broth or Jell-O. As much as I wanted!
  10. Had my sleeve yesterday at 730am. I was in pain and slept the rest of the day. Today I've been walking the hall and drinking 2 ounces of water every hour. No problems! Abdomen very sore.

  13. I have sleep apnea and it's not easy getting used to the mask, but if you try EVERY night to fall asleep with it on (even if it only lasts a few minutes) eventually you will get used to it.
