  1. Hi, I am one day post op. Just got home from the hospital literally. I am doing ok, not having a lot of pain. I am chewing ice for Fluid. Right now but I am close to needing Protein and I am on blenderized diet. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  5. I have to be at the hospital in 3 hours. I am nervous and excited. I am scared of complications the most. Pain I can tolerate but if something happens like having to be repeatedly stretched is my biggest fear. I just don't want any post op complication, dehydration, needing to be stretched, diarrhea.   6. Hi Rebecca, I think fear and anxiety are normal. My surgery is today and I have to be at the hospital in 3 hours. I am so nervous all I think about is what did I sign up for. While deep down I know this will save my life. I think these are all normal feelings. Personally I did emersion therapy to help. I just kept forcing myself to read and educate myself until the panic feeling calm down. I learned to cope with those feelings. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  9. I would try to find some unflavored protein and add to all foods. Also try protein o2 water. It is flavored water with protein in it. That can help add protein to your daily total.

  15. I am scheduled 12/23/2016. I am nervous. I am doing the Optifast liquid Meal Replacement and all I think about is food and how scary it is for me to be so consumed with food.
