  1. Cant drink beer bc it hurts (to much gas) . I can get about 3oz of steak in. Think it depends on the person and the amount of time post op. BTW not worried about ever drinking beer again, thought I would miss it but haven't yet!
  2. 10 months out and stomach rumbles and gurgles like crazy and #2 is almost always loose no matter what I eat. I hope this changes some.
  3. I believe this to be true. I stalled a few months ago and saw no weight loss on the scale but my clothes got very loose. This kept me going and after a few weeks I had a tremendous difference on the scale. Hang in there it will happen.
  4. I was fine by myself, be careful standing up and go slow on steps if you have them. After about two days I was fine and felt pretty good. Just take it easy.

  6. You are doing great! Remember the fat your body is getting rid of has all kinds of hormones in it. This stage will slow down and mood swings will return to whatever is normal for you! Hang in there, we have all had those days?

  9. I will talk to you, I'm 8 months out now and I remember the roller coaster you are on! It gets better it just takes some time. You are doing fabulous! You are looking fabulous! Unfortunately your husband maybe feeling insecure, I don't know bc you didn't say. Everyone handles it differently
  10. Well today I made it too onederland! Sleeved Dec 7 2016. I never thought I would see the day the scale read less than 200! BP is normal sugar is normal and no more pills[emoji322] 92 # down
  11. It was very strange when people starting noticing me. Complete strangers were suddenly talking to me, I guess I wasn't invisible anymore. At first it really weirded me out but now I am okay with. I would never judge someone for there appearance. I know how it feels to be "that fat girl". Down 80# and feeling great about myself. I truly think the better you feel inside the kinder you are to others.

  14. Today is day 8 since I got sleeved, really feeling good . No longer hurts to swallow easier to get moving but still get tired after my walk! Down 7 lbs since surgery. Hope everyone else is doing good! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  15. Hi, everyone, had my surgery on Wednesday, first few hours after were painful but the meds helped. It's Saturday and I'm at home! Pain is very mild, more sore than pain . It is easier to get up or lay down. Every day has been better. Still don't want food but I make myself drink. Am on full liquid again. My goal today is 64 oz. of fluids. Could not do it yesterday.   17. Tomorrow is the big day! Starting to get the jitters. 13 # down on pre op diet. I will post as soon as I am able after to update how I feel so people being sleeved after me can have an idea of what to expect. Reading other people's stories have really help me a lot!   20. I agree that he is insecure. He probably thinks you will leave when you become thinner which means he thinks you only stay bc you are heavy. He really needs a reality check! This is not about him it's about you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
