  2. I took off one week and am working from home a week. I feel like I could go back now. The issue will be exhaustion from lack of food. Best advice I saw on here was to go back on a Wednesday so you can start with half a week in case a full week is too much Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Should I be concerned that the sodium from my broth is too much?? I have had 24 oz, 1 premiere Protein shake, and crystal light. I'm already over the daily recommended sodium (per my fitness pal) and it is because of the broth. This next question sounds stupid for me to even ask butttt does drinking extra Water offset the sodium intake?

  21. So I have been researching Bariatric surgery for MONTHS (September to be exact) and then I decided to attend a seminar. None of this at the recommendation of my PCP. Fun fact about me, I highly research EVERYTHING. I was mainly interested in this as all other measures have failed the past 8 years and I was tired of being tired, lazy, hurting all over, constant headaches and worthless pretty much. It is plain and simple how I felt. After I went to the seminar, I realized I had met all the requirements. I just needed to get it together and get it to the surgeon. I did and then the next few weeks were a blur. Received an email from the nurse yesterday saying we would schedule surgery on Monday (She was out of the office today). Like I said, I research a lot and one of my favorite research tools was this site and all the discussions about actual experiences. Ever since her email I thought I would be relieved and excited but instead I started panicking. A million things going through my mind. What do I need to buy to prep for this? How long will I be down? Do I need to find help at my house? Should I have my husband at the hospital with me? I am buying all kinds of Vitamins, shakes, portion plates, measuring containers, flavorless Protein........support band for stomach for after. Is that even necessary?? OMG!!!!!!!!!!
