  5. So had my one month post op and I'm down 27 pds! Stitches have healed nicely and I no longer feel as tired as I did at the beginning. In phase 3 of my diet, so now I can do soft foods finally! The challenges I've been experiencing have been constipation and making sure I'm hitting my Water goals. I'm in the middle of househunting too so things have been a bit crazed. So crazed that I have had to remind myself to eat, something that was never an issue before. All in all, happy to see the progress...tough getting sleeved during the holidays (11/21/16) but it was worth it! HW 243 SW 233 CW 206 - LET'S DO THIS!????

  10. was the pain pretty bad when you woke up? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Honestly, no. They kept those pain meds coming. But when it was time to walk, that's when I felt it. It was mainly from the stitches pulling. It didn't make me want to pass out but I didn't want to walk, but once you push past that, it honestly gets better. HW 243 SW 233 CW 217 - LET'S DO THIS!????
  11. So I had my follow up appt at the surgeons office yesterday. They wanted to lay eyes on me to make sure I wasn't dehydrated. They also weighed me and I lost 16 pds already. That's it...I'm a believer Now I know not every week is going to be like this, but hey a loss is a loss and I'll proudly take a seat on the losers bench, at least in this case Btw, was sleeved on 11/21... 12. Thanks for sharing your sharing your journey! It really helps. I'm in the middle of my 2 wk liquid phase and it's hard but I know I won't be stuck here forever, so that's a consolation.
  13. I had a catheter during surgery and recovery but as soon as I was rolled to my room, it was out and was told to start walking as long as I wasn't still drowsy.
  14. Lol...I like the losers bench analogy. Thank u!

  17. I have bcbs NY and it took about 10 days. I think I followed up with them once. Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App
  18. I've had the same pain too, mainly on my right side. And the surgeon told me that's where they pulled out the remaining part of my tummy. It takes the longest to heal bc the incision is larger than the rest of the other holes...best wishes for your recovery! Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App
  19. Hi Everyone! My name is Paula and I was sleeved on 11/21/16, birthday was 11/23 and Thanksgiving was the 11/24. Yep - I had a lot of what was I thinking moments but I worked through it for the most part. I've just been taking huge whiffs of the food and now the Thanksgiving leftovers and quickly scuttle away to hydrate. I'm grateful and relieved that the surgery is over with but recovery and 2 wk post liquid is very challenging... Anyhoo, happy with a form to vent and gain insight and tips. Best wishes for a successful journey to all! Sent from my SM-G530T using the BariatricPal App
