  1. Because of some unrelated stuff I took a sabbatical from work. It just so happened to be shortly after my first appointment. I lost close to 15 lbs, just by not being stressed at work. It's completely unrealistic to stop working though in most cases and I cannot stay home forever. I go back to work about 2 weeks before my surgery(which is during my pre-op diet), so that makes me nervous (next week actually) I am also nervous because my surgery is also right after Thanksgiving. Double stress. I was only told to lose 6 lbs, it's different in every case though. The primary reason for weightloss before wls is to shrink the liver, to make room for the instruments, as well as ensure your safety. I doubt this helped. Lol sorry. 5. Are you getting enough Water? Dehydration can cause nausea and headaches. Whatever it is I hope you find the answer Also, ask your surgeon about miralax or similar, because not pooping (from personal experience) can be dangerous and extremely painful! 8. I still have some of my old clothes. I am a size 28 right now and I have 2 pairs of 26 and 2 pairs of 24 and an 18. I am sure ill need and go through clothes often. I plan to donate them to the surgeons office. She has a closet where if you are in the office and you go down a size you can just grab something from there. Which is pretty cool, imo. 9. Anyone having this problem. I start my preop diet next Monday, and I am supposed to lose 6 lbs. Should I just stay home on Thanksgiving? Or any tip and tricks to make the entire day smoother. Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App
