  2. Acid reflux can really mess with you. Don't discount that option. I had terrible sharp pain and felt it on my ribcage and went up my back to my shoulder. It was acid reflux once I started taking Omepraxole it went away Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  5. I will be a month out on the 23rd and I still can't finish one full triple zero yogurt. I start feeling full towards the end of it. Same when I eat 3-4oz of cottage cheese or some Jello. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Hello everyone! I am 10 days post op and I can tell you that my therapist and support group have been an integral part of recovery thus far. I used to say, "I will be ok as I don't think I have much of a food addiction " ... I was so wrong. The first few days have been so rough bc all I am left is with...myself! As my therapist put it and it's a tough place to be at. Not being able to go to food, alcohol, or shopping has been something that has made me look into myself and listen to myself. I have a long road ahead but I am so grateful to have a network of support and feel I am not alone. I don't know how people do this without support of a professional or some type of group. Good luck all! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. Maybe speak with your dietitian. I know from working with a nutrition coach that your body needs sustenance within 30 to 60mins of waking up. And I would eat every 2.5-3 hrs like clockwork! It helped me lose weight by speeding my metabolism. (Smaller meals more frequently). Hope that helps to guide a conversation with your health professional. 29. @@OhHeyMarina so excited for you! Best of luck and keep us updated! I am on day 7 of my liquid diet feeling a bit sad, scared, excited and so many more. I am not sure if it's due to stress or the lack of food and the fact that people at work are eating very smelly (yummy) foods around me felt hungry today for the first time. I am down 7lbs already and counting down the days!! Good luck to everyone Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  30. Best of luck to you! Try to think positive and let the higher power take over this! All will go fine and you are not alone! You have support through this group who are all praying for a great outcome! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  31. @@Wonder WomanNJ definitely let's keep in touch. I am getting it in NYU Hudson Valley. That is messed up you "lost" 2 days but on the bright side you'll get used to it after the 3rd day it's so much easier. And you'll lose weight pre surgery. I am on day 6 today and cant believe it's T-9 days. Scared and excited all at once. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
