caking0923 got a reaction from LISS011 in Anyone gone to Blossom Bariatric (self-pay) in Las Vegas?Thank you all for the information. Your comments have assured me to contact blossom on Monday.
If I could ask you all. What day of the week did you fly down. I am
Wondering what days they do surgery on.
I know a few people who went to Mexico. Paying the extra 1400 or so to have the longer stay and in the US really gives me a piece of mind. -

caking0923 reacted to Mothra in USA Self-Pay OptionsI had mine done at Blossom Bariatrics in Las Vegas on May 15, 2019. They have a 'concierge' type program set up for out of town patients, very efficient. They include lodging at a nice hotel and transportation. I had a good experience and would recommend them to anyone wanting the gastric sleeve.

Yes ! Don’t go to Mexico! I researched and found dr Shillingford in boca Raton florida . Did the entire procedure for $10,500. He has great reviews and specifically set up his program for non insured folks who wanted safe but reasonable surgery . I had a great result and am down 60lbs since 12/18

caking0923 reacted to artisticmindRN in amusement parks post-opAfter surgery, healing, and being at goal/mid-goal has anyone went to an amusement park and had problems with rides? I'm hoping to have surgery in late july or beginning of august. We're planning on Disneyland in March/April 2020 and maybe Universal. I'm able to ride coasters now ( I love my thrill rides!!) but I know people who've said surgeries and/or pregnancies changed their tolerance and they are no longer able to tolerate the rides. Has anyone experienced this or were you able to before and can still go on rides?

Preop has been challenging that's for sure, my 4th day was the worst...its been much easy after I got over that hump. Stick to it, I have read and been told that recovery is much easier when you follow a good preop diet. Everything all works together. Congrats on your date. You got this!
