Gas-X Strips Discontinued - What to use?
Note that not everyone needs those. I was lucky & didn't require them at all. I had them but didn't end up using them. Good luck!

Pre-Op Diet Starts Tomorrow. SO confused and overwhelmed.
It sounds like you've created a story about why you can't lose weight: "It's SO confusing! Might as well not even try! I'll end up a failure anyway!" Doctor's orders - like so much in life - is open to interpretation. Should you get 60, 80, or 100 grams of protein daily? The exact number doesn't matter. Get between 60-100 grams & you'll be good. Consider how else this story is impacting your life & really learn to flip the script to achieve a different outcome. You are not alone. Good luck!

You got this! Good luck!

Drinking iced tea bothers me
I definitely had (& three years later still have, to a lesser degree) difficulty drinking plain water. Instead, I drink a lot of Crystal Light iced tea & it goes down much easier. You are not alone. Good luck!

Weed, Marijuana, Pot
Wow, judge much? You assume marijuana is a bad habit. That's ill informed & super judgey.

Three Weeks Out
Our bodies can fluctuate 2-3 pounds on a daily basis. For me, it was a bit less so after surgery. In my opinion, you're well within standard deviation. Good luck!

Surgery Yesterday
Congratulations! Welcome to the other side! You are not alone. Good luck!

Smoking weed post-op
You should be fine. I know there are lots of different strains. If you buy from a dispensary, maybe you can find a strain that helps with inflammation. Consider this an opportunity to try something new. Good luck!

Im having trouble
It sounds to me like you can't afford to NOT have the surgery. Good luck.

Reason for missing work??
I just came out & told people. I found everyone I told was supportive except one. Ironically, she's one who could most use weight loss surgery. She considered surgery "cheating". Anyway, just telling people worked well for me. Good luck to you!

Surgery all done!#
Congratulations! Welcome to the other side! You are not alone.

Doc wants me to lose 26 lbs in 2 weeks?
It's quite possible your doctor doesn't actually want you to lose 26lbs in two weeks. That's beyond difficult even for the best of us after surgery. Your doctor's threat is more likely to motivate you to show serious progress in the next two weeks. Do the best you can & show your doctor you're motivated. Good luck!

Probiotics After WLS
I take them. Anything that's good for gut health gets a thumbs up from me.

New comer. Any suggestions/advice?
Replied directly.

Anyone suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis?
This is exactly the kind of thing your surgical team needs to know about. Let them know you have RA but are concerned about the meds interacting with your stomach. Perhaps they can help you find other meds. This is exactly the kind of challenge they get paid to solve. I have some RA but not enough to require medication. You are not alone. Good luck!

Surgery t-minus 5 hrs
Good luck! See you over on the post-surgery forum!

I was sleeved 3 years ago today. Ask me anything.
I'm sorry to read you're constipated. I'd suggest more fiber, but you're too soon past surgery. Drink as much water as you can. Consider a stool softener. Sooner or later nature WILL take its course! Good luck!

Leaking from incesion
I'm sorry this is happening to you. Even if your doctor is going on holiday, there must be someone else on your surgical team you can contact. Good luck!

Yay! Finally have a surgery date!
Excellent. Congratulations!

Sorgey tomorrow
Don't worry about him. Do what you know is right. Good luck.

I was sleeved 3 years ago today. Ask me anything.
Not really. I'd have to start really overeating to pack on much more. My weight has been steady for months. Instead of spending brainpower worry about regaining, I'll spend brainpower working on how to lose more.

My Sleeve is broken
So many people feel that way but it's rarely true. It's like we have this mentality that since so many other weight loss attempts didn't work, surely there will be a reason this one doesn't work. Anyway, good luck!

Disheartened , can’t catch a break
I was denied the first time I tried. I stuck with it & eventually had the surgery three years ago yesterday. I'm sorry this is happening to you. Good luck!
