  4. I'd say yes. Just chew to baby food consistently
  5. Has it happened to any of you where you find your able to eat less than you were before? I'm almost 4 weeks out. I have an appointment with my surgeon on the 24th. I'm a bit concerned because when I started soft foods I could take in 2 ounces and now less than one and I'm uncomfortable. I'm having to drink slower too. Anyone gone through this or know the reason for it? I'm still on soft foods and I am waiting 30 minutes between eating and drinking

  8. I lost 28 pounds prior to surgery. Just had the surgery 4/21 and have lost 14 since.

  14. Hi I just learned I have IBS and it super sucks I'm sick so often it's hard to know when I can leave the house. I started having symptoms after gaining a large amount of weight. I have not yet had my weight loss surgery but I was wondering if any of you suffering from IBS have had less symptoms since losing a large amount of weight from your surgery. Any info would be helpful Thank you.
  15. I had everything done and I was just about to be able to schedule a surgery date. Then I found out I've got a GI bleed. So now I have to get this figured out before I can move forward with the surgery and if I can move forward with the surgery. Feeling defeated. Anyone with similar experiences? 16. My sister lives with me and she can pull me off in to the deep end with a snap of her fingers. I'm pre op and I'm really trying to get on track with my diet. And it seems like when ever I do get a handle on things my sister comes in with these ideas to get bad foods/fast food. I've tried to say no but if she mentions something enough times I can't help myself I'm drooling over it and I also feel bad telling her no. I need help, advice. I'm desperate. Who's gone through this and how did you deal? Tia Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

  19. Everything everyone said. But most importantly for me. I am looking forward to being able to become pregnant. Not having everyone worry that my pregnancy will be unsafe because I'm so big and being able to show with a cute little baby bump Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  20. Thank you all for responding to my post. Tracking has been hard for me because I quit tracking once I've eaten something I know will put me over for the day. I really appreciate the advice. I will keep at it. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  21. I have been waking up for so long, years in fact, with the intent to eat right all day and end up giving up by lunch or dinner. That's one of the reasons I have decided to have surgery. However, in the pathway to get the surgery we are required to change our ways and lose weight in the process. I desperately need advice on how to break the habit. How have you been able to change your ways prior to the surgery? Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
