its the weekend so my surgeons office wont be open til monday for me to ask but i just started my pre op diet today and it just occurred to me i dont know if im supposed to be taking my vitamins during preop, my plan says nothing about it does anyone know if its ok?

I am having my surgery 1.5 hours away from home they really worked well with me like the psych follow up and anesthesia assessment they just called me instead of having to drive and they also scheduled my stress test locally so they can do some things to help you out Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

You will probably need a referral from your primary care physician but look and see if your surgeon has any kind of informational event they want you to attend to kick off the process you should be able to get in to one soon and they will set you up with everything you need to do Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

hello to everyone i have been lurking around the forums for a while here and figured i would finally jump in and be more of an active member, just to kind of introduce myself, and tell everyone what i have going on im 35 years old from rock falls illinois, there are no bariatric teams within close proximity to me so i decided to go with dr breitman at rockford memorial hospital in rockford illinois for my rny gastric bypass, i had my initial consultation on august 1st 2016, i got lucky and my insurance company doesnt require a supervised diet so things have been moving along pretty quickly, i had a little hang up when my stress test for the cardiologist came back abnormal so i had to get an angiogram which came back normal. Im 5'8" and my high weight at the start of the process was 370, and since ive been following the diet my nut put me on ive gotten down to 302 already as of last week im just waiting a month to do the follow up appointment for my sleep study and 3 weeks later they have my surgery scheduled for december 13th, they said i could have went november 8th but i thought that was a bit too soon and i need to get some finances in order for while im off work, but im getting more excited every day since they gave me the date and looking forward to joining everyone on the losers bench
