  10. This would never happen in the hospital I work for. 1) if we can't fix it we find someone who can ! 2) as a patient you have rights! Request a transfer to another hospital. They can't refuse ! ( if the hospital is full you may have to wait ) 3) that is not a nurses job. Who cares if you piss off the surgeon , he's not helping you ! 4) ask to speak with The House supervisor( they can help you ) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I love almond butter. If you take plain oats(not quick) mix with some almond milk a teaspoon of almond butter and a few pieces of fruit , mix and leave in fridge overnight. Eat the next am. Excellent meal !!!! You can even make 3 days at a time. I only use about 1/4cup or less of oats. They swell to a good size. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  20. Ok guys, (Said with a big sigh ) I'm 37 , 5ft flat and 215. I was never really a big girl until I hit 25 :/. I tried WW, Atkins and counting calories. I joined a gym , but it's sooo intimidating. So I'm headed for my surgery consult next Wednesday. I've been researching and reading this sight for tons of insight. My biggest concern now is getting my fluids in and hair loss. I've started Biotin twice daily, trying to offset some hair loss. Anybody from the south knows that food is always gonna be an obstacle. We love our food. Any tips would be great. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
