  1. I'm no stranger to being fatigued, I have Fibro & Lymes disease.. Has your doctor(s) done any other kind of test.. Like what were the blood test looking for? Are you having any other symptoms? Foggy headed or achy? *shrugs* could be something totally unrelated to the wls.. G'luck! Munky
  2. I have had an abnormal EKG for as long as I can remember. The cardiologist still approved me for surgery. I did have to do a stress test though.
  3. I am 52, my sleeve was in August. I had no complications. I am still feeling very tired even though I take all my Vitamins. Yesterday I laid down for a bit at 3 pm and I did not wake up until 12 hours later I did not even wake up during that time. I am not new to fatigue as I had my thyroid removed last summer for cancer, but this is just ridiculous. I had more energy when I weighed 50 lbs more was raising a toddler and working full time . Yes, I was younger, but at 52 I should not be feeling like this. I recently saw my endo and she said my blood work looked good. I also make sure I am taking in the Protein and I drink plenty of Water. I am not sure what is going on. I would think that after 8 weeks I would have more energy.
  4. I was pre approved before my first visit with the surgeon's office. I started the process in March, 2016 and got my approval in late July . Surgery was in August. I was pretty sure they were going to approve as long as I did all of the pre surgical requirements.
  5. I went off of insulin when I started my pre op diet. I still take metformin 2 x a day , but I do not take the glimipiride. I had a really hard time controlling my diabetes. My A1c was 13 in January 2015. It is now a 6.9 but I do not expect to ever be off of the metformin, regardless of the weight loss. Some people say their diabetes is cured, but that is not the case for some of us Diabetes runs rampant in my family, on both sides. My uncle and dad have type 2 and neither are overweight.
  6. weight watchers cheese sticks, raw veggies, apples, bariatric high Protein Snacks, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, Protein Bars
  7. I drank 2 Protein shakes right after surgery and just sipped liquids all day long(creamed Soups, shakes, Water or sugar free pops and jello) I don't know how much I was taken in, I just drank what I tolerated. I had hair loss to begin with because I had radiation for thyroid cancer and it seemed to be an issue with my hair. I have not noticed and significant hair loss post op. I am nearly 8 weeks out now and drink one shake a day.
