I'm 3 days post op and have not been able to get in enough protein. Today I tried a cold premier protein but my stomach started to hurt then I warmed it up and was able to drink it like a hot chocolate

I had my surgery on 3/20/17 so I'm 3 days post-op. my surgery went great I'm in a little pain but the oxy's are very helpful and working through this full liquid diet and having trouble getting in protein and enough fulids but all in I doing good back at home and took 3 walks today.

My first appointment with my surgeon is on February 9th as well! I am 4 months through my 6 month program and i am super excited to see what the surgeon has to say! Hay I'm 27 and I told all my friends and family via a Facebook post and I also mentioned that I'm doing this for me and I told them if you don't have anything positive and supportive to say keep your opinions to your self because even if you see this as a easy way out or as cheating you don't know the struggles I have gone through due to being overweight and what matters most is how I feel and how having this surgery is going to change my life for the better, So just be happy for me. I'm also having my surgery in Jan 2017

Some things that has helped me out was first cutting out all sugars and just being more aware of how much sugar is in the things you eat. drink plenty of water try for 1/2 a gallon a day if you can. start exercising, walking more, parking at the back of the store lot and taking the stairs. just a few ideas to help get you started. good luck

Hi I'm from Seattle, WA just started my liquid diet on Monday my next appt. is on the 19th then ill get my date after that so I started my liquid diet early to get a jump start on reaching my goal weigh and losing 20 lbs. before surgery
