  18. Hi ginnylee. I am new to group. 61 years old. Almost finished completing pre-op tests. No date yet. I have many reservations about doing the surgery. These are related to potential side effects. Nausea, diarrhea, staple issues, not being able to follow the diet. I am taking it one step at a time and am optimistic that things will work out. 20. Hi beach lizard. I am 61 married, with son 35 who has 3 children. Wt is the one thing I have not conquered. I am having 2nd thoughts and I don't have a date yet. I am anxious about the endoscope and colonoscopy procedure as well as the possible complications. Yet bottom line, I won't know if I don't try. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
