I am so happy to find BariatricPal and especially the 60+ forum! I just turned 70 years old and can hardy wait to get my surgery date. It has been an interesting journey getting through all the tests and medical appointments. There are those who judge that I am too old to have weight loss surgery. Let them walk in my shoes all these years...... I just want to enjoy the rest of my life in a normal size body. I need the support and encouragement from all of you! Let's make this trip together.
