  2. I have about 50lbs to lose. Op is booked for the 5 Oct. many friends have told me I'll have to deal with loose skin. Do any of you low BMIers who have lost similar know if this is the case? I just want to manage my expectations. Thx Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  4. Christinamo7 that's such good news. I'm praying I feel the same. My blood sugar is elevated so maybe that explains my crazy sugar cravings over the last year. I never had such a sweet tooth in the past. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. @@KristenLe thanks for the advice. I'm going to look into therapy. But I'm praying I'm one of the lucky few who go off chocolate and sweets. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. I'm struggling to believe that I'll have the will power to not eat chocolate, cake etc. I've always been weak willed hence why I need this surgery. I'm guessing most of you have also struggled with eating the wrong foods in the past. Will it be easier to say no to these foods post sleeve than it is today ?. I'm scared that as I'll only be able to eat small amounts, I'll want to eat yummy bad foods. Rather than the required Protein. In carb crazy. Please tell me that it will be easier to succeed after the VSG than it is today. Thx Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. Does anyone know if Bassetts chewable Multivitamins are good enough for sleevers? I'm two weeks away from the big day and stocking up. I'm a Brit actually living in Singapore but as there is no support here, I hope you don't mind me following the Brit sleevers group. I'm getting a friend to bring me any stuff I need from the UK (Boots/ Holland & Barrett). Is there anything else I need to stock up on ? Thanks for your advice. 12. Thanks low BMI ladies for sharing your journeys. I'm a 31 BMI and due to be sleeved in the next 2 weeks. I know it's the right thing to do and the right timing for me, but it's still great to hear that others in a similar position have no regrets. I'm having panic attacks about failing, sagging skin and going bald. Plus of course dying on the operating table etc Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Has anyone lost about 50 lbs and had loose skin? That's my target weight loss. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. I'm a BMI of 31 with related health issues but really having second thoughts as most seem to have a higher BMI. I'd love a comment from someone with a 31/32 BMI to hear how they are post sleeve. And importantly no regrets. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. olliesoda. You are my twin separated at birth. I have the same lifestyle and like the same foods. Have you had your op ? Mine is in two weeks. Think I'm going to really miss champers. Hope you're doing ok. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
