12-27-26 was my surgery date. Surgery day 356. Currently 290. I'm on a stall for the last few weeks as well. Just patiently waiting. ....I know it's going to start up again, but the wait can be tough. Plus side, I feel like I'm still shrinking

I am so nervous about my upcoming bypass on 12/27. My husband is supportive, and he loves me and thinks I am doing the right thing. I guess I'm looking for more validation that I am doing the right thing for me and my family. I'm in tears for the first time during this journey because I'm scared of failing, scared of my future as a bypass patient, but even more scared of being morbidly obese for the rest of my life. Found out today that my insurance under no circumstances will cover my surgery. So now I'm working on paying for this myself. I may end up selling some of my stock in order to pay for my surgery. I'm worried about the tax implications capital gains and increasing my taxable income for taxes. Does anyone have any insight on this topic? I just don't want to be in a bad place when taxes are due.
