I had my EGD done this morning at I felt perfectly fine until a few hours ago. My stomach is good but I'm starting to get a sore throat.

Only my husband and my sister know. I wasn't going to tell my sister but I did because we don't keep secrets like that. I live out of state so my plan is to tell everyone I started a strict program ( I did) + hitting the gym hard starting Jan 1. I likely wont see my family until April-June. I could be knocking on my goal weight by then so I know I'll have a lot of explaining to do.

We are scheduled for the same day! Let me be honest, there is nothing you can show or tell him because his fear isn't coming from a rational place. Postponing wont change his mind, he'll just go through the same feelings again 2 weeks pre-op. My guess is that we will both sleep through most of Christmas day as it's supposed to be my first full day home. My kids will be with my in-laws so i wont be cooking or doing the usual. I thought about going to hang out with a friend but I don't want to socialize that soon afterward. good Luck

my surgery is 12/21 and but I don't have to go liquid until 12/20. I think Im goign to start a day early so its not such a shock to my system.

I have a date but I feel like its not real...12/21. I keep feeling like I'm going to get a call saying I cant have any any day not. I basically wont believe it until I am admitted to the hospital.

I'm hoping for late Nov. or early Dec. I still have 2 more visits before they submit me for approval.
