  4. EVERY person I have spoken to has said the same thing, that it was too soon. I think I am going to go back to the things that were easier for me to eat. How will I know when to try again? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  6. Hi. I am 3.5 weeks out, and I have been having alot of problems eating and drinking. I was put on meats, cheese, soft veggies...pretty much anything since day 6. I think it was too early. I have been nauseaus and not wanting food (or drinks) I was taken off shakes (which I can't get down anyway) and yogurt. My question is, i know that we are supposed to eat yogurt with more protein than sugar, but since I'm having so much trouble, would it hurt to eat one that has 13g sugar and 11g protein? Even if just until I can eat better? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Im 3 weeks now, and I am ALWAYS nauseaus! When did it stop for you???? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  8. I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I just can't wait for the day that I feel good, no nausea. And the day that I don't gag when I tiink about or see food. I get up in the am and start feeling sick when I think about having to eat bfast. I have to start walking more, I just need to push myself, I have little energy. Hopefully we both start feeling better soon!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I have NO IDEA how that got there!!! Lol I didn't put that, I don't even know HOW to type in red. That is SO WEIRD!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I have spoken to my surgical team, they advised me to take the Zofran, and eat slower. I have a hard time with that!!! I don't know if people confused my post as saying I'm "depessed", I'm not depressed, just kind of tired of feeling sick. Today was a GREAT day for me, I hope each day continues to get better. I think another poster was talking about depression. Thank you for your advice!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. I have had a hard time with eating and drinking, but today was a good day. Thejeweledsleeve posted the depression video, I'm not sure if she is who you meant to comment to. But i know what its like to be nervous, i almost backed out, but i think i'm going to be happy i didn't. Good Luck Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. The funny thing, is that the dr has had me on meats since day 6. I try EVERYTHING. I have had problems only with crab so far (or it was a coincidance) I can eat eggs, bacon, chicken, beef, cheese, turkey, cereal (dr said high fiber) he has me off shakes and yogurt, but I went back to yogurt because I NEED a little something for when nothing else works. 13. Thank you so much for your advice!!! I am not even a little bit interested in sweets, I'm SOO HAPPY to hear that I can have a little pizza at some point! How long would you say it was when you felt better? I am going on vacation in 2 weeks, and I have been so worried. (I'll be about 5 weeks post op by then) Congratulations on your loss! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I called yesterday. They suggested I take my Zofran everyday. I took it 3xs yesterday, but I haven't felt sick today. I'm hoping/PRAYING that maybe yesterday was the peak of my healing and now I'll start feeling better each day!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  16. I'm 3 weeks out, and my dr said I can eat salad, but I'm too afraid still. How did you feel 3 weeks out? I'm nauseaus ALL the time. I hate the thought of eating or drinking. I am going on vacation in 2 weeks, and I will have to find things at a restaurant to eat. I haven't been out to eat yet. When did you feel "good"? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  17. I guess I just try to avoid medicine, there really is no reason why I shouldn't take the zofran. I am so "grossed out" by food right now, that just thinking about it makes me so sick!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I feel better physically as far as no more back pain or foot pain, but I feel so sick all the time. I have 1 good day and 3 bad days. I hope it passes. It makes me feel better to hear that its normal. I KNOW i'm NOT getting in enough protein or fluids. And I NEED to start moving more. Thank you! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. I so hope you are right!!!! As of right now, I feel like I made the biggest mistake of my life! I hope it gets better soon. I was so excited for this surgery. I'm happy you are doing well. Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. I have zofran, but I try not to take it and omeprezerole (spelling) I CAN'T drink shakes AT ALL! The dr tolf me to stop them, but when I tried, I can't drink them anyway. EVERYTHING makes me nauseaus. I'm wondering if I need stronger reflux meds. I'm so depressed, I knew it would be a life change, but I didn't count on feeling like THIS. I have little energy and I just feel sad. Is this noal? Will it pass? (It's not that I MISS the food, except maybe pizza) but I just want to feel GOOD, NORMAL. UGH. 23. People keep telling me to try watermelon, I'm a little apprehensive because it gave me heartburn pre-op. I loved lemonade right after surgery, I just tried some and hate it. I just don't know whats wrong with me. I feel like I'm in the "buyers remorse" stage. Am I EVER going to feel "normal" again? Amd I EVER going to be able to eat and not be nauseaus again? Am I EVER going to stop HATING the very thoughts of eating or drinking??? Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
