  1. 6 weeks I can't wait I have 3 more weeks to go I drink occasional decaff tea
  2. My surgeon told me I should never drink soda it can expand your stomach.
  3. I took a week off. My surgery was on a Thursday went home on Friday went back to work the following Thursday and Friday it was easy short days then had the weekend off. I rested then on Monday went back to work and has been okay.
  4. how long did you take pantazoprole my doctor has me taking acid suppression for 3 months post surgery.
  5. I to was sleeved on 8-11-16 today is my first day of food after 3 weeks of Protein drinks. It was a little rough I am suppose to do 100 grams of protein and 64 oz of liquids. I had a scrambled egg for Breakfast, tuna for lunch and roccota cheese with marinara sauce for dinner and 2 Protein shakes was was tough was trying to get it all in I felt very fully. I am doing well from the surgery still have a little pain but not bad. I was just surprised how hard it was to get everything in also I started multi Vitamins and B complex I bought liquid vitamins I will be ordering chewable in the future. The liquid vitamins make me feel to full. How about the rest of you. How are you feeling.

  8. Yes I was sleeved on 8/11 no problems im following the docs orders to a tee start mush thursday cant wait
  9. I was sleeved on 8-11-16 I won't be on pureed food until thursday I can no wait. 4 more days, 4 more days. }
  10. Hang in there it is so important to get protiein and fluids in I had a problem the first couple days but better now. Keep trying
  11. Hope you feel better soon, so I saw that you want to get out on your bike what do you ride, street, sidewalk, beach cruiser? I can not ride for 6 weeks after surgery I have a road bike and a sidewalk bike. I can't wait to get riding again also.
  12. Hi everyone, I was sleeved on August 11th, I have to do 2 weeks liquids then I move to soft or mushy for 2 weeks. I have 7 more days of liquids. I can't wait to have something more than Protein shakes. But I am so glad I did this. I also can't wait to restart my hormones I had to stop a month before surgery and stay off for a month after. I go back to work tomorrow. Congrats to all who have started this journey. I know its not easy but we all did this to lose wt. for me it is to get and stay healthier. I keep reminding myself one day at a time. does anyone know How do you get your tickler to show up with posts.
  13. My back hurt a little from laying in the hospital bed. Do you still have the pain, r you walking.
  14. so sorry about your gas pain I hear it is terrible. I live in south florida. I hope your pain goes away soon. I did not even think about liquid tylenol I have been taking tablets for the incisional discomfort.

  16. My doctor required 1 week liquid diet prior to surgery to shrink the liver then 2 weeks liquid diet post surgery
  17. You can do this, so exciting your surgery is almost here, I had my surgery on the 11th doing well, I was very worried before surgery about gas pain I heard they were awful. A friend of mine had this surgery and she told me it was very important to walk as soon as they would let me which I did so I walked often in the hospital after surgery I was sleeved on the 11th and went home on the 12th. No problem with any gas pains. I too had headaches on the liquid diet. I attributed to no coffee. Good luck with your surgery.
  18. OMG gas pain for 2 weeks thats awful thanks for the tip on sipping water. Im walking a couple times a day going to get out today for a little bit was pretty tired yesterday.
  19. Hi I was sleeved on the 11th glad to hear you are doing well. I can't believe you walked a couple miles I am still very tired. but otherwise good.

  21. I'm doing OK. Im not able to take narcotics a lot of pain medicine makes me extremely nauseous so I started tylenol this morning but seems to be doing a good jobI was surprise that I did not have more pain I'm more sore than pain I had some nausea Zofran seems to be doing a good job I had my surgery in Delray.   22. I am scheduled for surgery thursday I have been trying different shakes I love Quest Protein shakes Peanut Butter and salted Carmel. They do not have that funny taste some Protein Shakes have.
