is it a digital scale or one that has the hand that goes around, it its the hand that goes around make sure before u step on it the hand is at 0 and not at a couple pounds, i have a scale that does it and its cause it only has a certain weight limit it can handle.

i have aetna and im having surgery aug 13, just a hint the policy stated that only need psych eval if you have had past issues, under the care or on meds for psych issues, they was trying to demand me to get one done even though policy stated otherwise. i did finally get my approval without but it took me a month extra to get it. so keep a eye on it.

according to my paperwork right after surgery your stomach is the size of a egg.

Well I got my approval letter in the mail today and then surgeon office called today and said they wanted to schedule my surgery. I gotta go precertify and then go for preop appt the 12th of august (gotta be on a clear diet that day) and then surgery the 13th of august. I cant belive its happening.

I have my surgery with Dr Facundus on August 13. I chose him because he has more experience than Foreman.

I went to malapars seminar in nov 06 and he was so anti band. he said that if someone wanted banded he wouldnt do it he would refer them to another surgeon. I am now seeing Facundus. Just got approval and waiting on surgery date.

are you getting the realize band? I am and got the realize website to go with it, on the part where u put in your weight it has for your inches and when you click on each different section it tells you where to do it.

i have the Mirena IUD that lasts for 5 yrs, they insert it in you down there, it will cause u to cramp and possibly have a period for a bit to start but I only spot now and its not all the time and maybe just a day I have had it since sept, my mother in law has had it for 4 yrs now and has not even spotted or anythign since getting it. and like i said plus side is it lasts 5 yrs then u get it removed and reinserted if needed, and you can get it removed anytime during that 5 yrs if needed.

after reading it my answer is definete, i have already told my husband that i plan on getting a tt and a lift, if not just implants to lift kwim.

i have not been banded yet but i do know that if someone is irregular, even if it is due to bc, that once tehy start losing weight they become more regular. when I was on the depo shot I had a actual period once every 6-9 mths and boy was the cramps the worse, Now Im on the Mirena IUD cause the depo caused me to gain 100 lbs that the band if fixing to help me get off, but the iud I spot every so often. It could just be your body trying to get use to the idea of you being at a lower weight cause you have lost a good chunk of weight. But this is only my opinion and like i said i am not banded, i just know that people who are irregular which most time is due to weight tend to get regular once weightloss

Im just reposting this so that our new people can find this easily. The way I always refer to put in is to right click on the one(s) you want and save it as a gif file. Upload it to www.photobucket.com (u can make a free account) then take the 4th (bottom) code and copy it. Go to LBT Edit options and over to the left choose Edit Signature. In the box paste the code and click save and BAM you got a signature. Also I will update this with new ones when I make them. P.s. Lana will you post the links to your file share eatch one in case someone wants to just use your links. Thanks hun.

if you look at the post where i put the new August All Star graphics I made there are some posts in it that tells you what do tdo its pretty simple and i made 5 different type so you have your pick.

Im not gonna have to do one unless i dont lose the 5 lbs i gained and so far i lost 4 of them. i may have to do 24 hrs before surgery do liquids but not a 2 wk unless dr changes his mind.

Im sure that you will be fine. What insurance do you have? I finished all of my stuff in June and my insurance was trying to be a pain and demand a psych eval even though not in the policy that i would have to, well my surgeon tried to file paperwork thursday without a psych eval just a letter from surgeon stating that I never had any psych issues and got immediate approval, im was in shock and thought about calling the insurance company just to hear from them the yes but im afraid they will see something and change there mind lol. I have aetna primary which was the one giving issue and blue cross secondary. You will do good. do you have a surgery date yet?

you can do it one of two ways, you can either save the graphics to your computer as a gif file and then upload to a free hosting site such at photobucket and take the 4th code and copy and paste it into your signature box under your edit options section of lbt and it will show all the time. or you can refer to one of the posts that lana replied on this thread where she posted the link to her file share to where you can use the links u just copy and put a . where she wrote [dot] at and put it in your signature the same way and your good to go, i have messengers if you want to pm me on it and i can walk you through it but i dont get home till close to 1am central time.

the easiest way is if you have a photobucket account which is free you would right click on the design in my post save as a .gif then upload to photobucket and take the last code under the pic when its uploaded and paste it into your signature box.
