  1. I take mine after meals as well. Perhaps try taking them 30mins before & see if that helps. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm going into week 5, hopefully the scale will go down. It's really affecting me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. Have any of you had a stall? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. Guys honestly this freaking stall is getting to me! Yes I've read the "Embrace The Stall" but when you're going through it, it's tough! I've been at 205 for 2 weeks! Aunt Flow is visiting this week & while I'd like to think that I'm holding on to extra weight due to her stay.. I can't say for sure that I'll see a change once she's gone. It's beginning to really get to me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Looking for a workout buddy who has been cleared for exercise. Tomorrow I plan to start the Insanity workout w/ Shaun T. Having a buddy to go along with the process would be great. It's 60 days. Anyone who wants to do it but doesn't have the video... They have it on YouTube as well (usually someone who is recording their copy though but it'll get the job done). Anyone interested please let me know Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. @@ChocolateDropp7 the recovery has been great! The only complaint I have is that heavier food seems to get stuck or something which makes me a tad uncomfortable so I mostly stick to softer foods. How has your recovery been? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. Same here. I had a hiatal hernia as well & have done the same thing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Yup! I've only told my husband & immediately family. It's really no one else's business. Share if you feel comfortable & if not, don't feel obligated. Your choice Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I love the analogy you used about the scale being that very blunt best friend, so true! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  10. I just can't wait to sit w/ my legs crossed lol. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  11. Amazing! Keep up the great work! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I've been waiting patiently for someone to respond. Surely someone has had or have cellulite & have lost the weight. Hopefully a supporter will chime in. Stay tuned... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Yes, I think I will. I spoke to the on call doctor but he didn't understand that the only thing I was "eating" was scrambled egg and assumed that I was trying to push foods when the bulk of what I'm doing is drinking. I just didn't like his answer or the fact that he didn't really pay attention to what I said. Do you really think it could be a leak? I did the swallow test and they said it was fine. That worries me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I'm taking zofran for nausea; what meds stop the cramping? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I pray not! I don't think it's that serious but we have to be careful early out. for the 1st 6 weeks you have to be careful. I'm surprised your doctor cleared you for eggs so soon! Every doctor is different though. Please keep us posted with everything! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  14. Hooray! Congrats! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. So sorry to hear this! Emotional & mental health are just as important as physical health. The same way you are shedding the pounds to get healthy, maybe you should shed him as well. Best of luck to you beautiful! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. I hope you feel better! As others have said the eggs should wait until your stomach has healed. You should call you Doctor first thing Monday and tell them your experience. I pray that it's nothing serious but please talk to a professional. The sweating & nausea together are also symptoms of a leak (not very likely though) call your doctor pronto. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  17. That's so wonderful! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  18. Same here! What was your BMI starting out? I've been told & read repeatedly that lower BMI's drop weight slower. Then you know there's the legendary 3 week stall that can last for weeks. Hang in there. I've stopped going on the scale bc I'd feel discouraged. I now only weigh once per week. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. Definitely too much sugar. I tried a mango smoothie (Mango Lasi) and I was glued in the restroom for 30 mins (excuse the TMI). The sugar can make you dump. I've surely learned my lesson. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  20. It's not an easy decision that we've made. Most of here have dropped loads of pounds, tried every weight loss pill and/or program/regimen & still gained it all came back with new friends (more pounds). Stand strong in your decision regardless of what. There will always be nay sayers but ultimately it your life, your decision & you are better off because of it. We all are! Our body & Our health thanks us for it. Be encouraged and congrats on changing your life for the best! Continue to write your own story Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  21. Sounds like Fall in a cup! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  22. Were you able to finish the whole thing? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. Haha! I guess the title was a bit misleading. I was going to title this post, "Menstrual Cycle Help" but didn't want to traumatize any of the guys lol. I want to cycle as well (bicycle) so sure... Feel free to talk about that as well if you'd like Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  24. Camelback has a great line of bottles I have 33oz one (I technically fits about 42 ounces though) and they are highly durable. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. @@Pinkberry2 I meant no offense to you. I apologize if it came off that way, I really do. I'm not mean at all. I was trying to quote the other person in respond to that said comment which I agree w/. I stand by what I said but I did not mean to offend you in anyway. I was speaking from a general standpoint.
