  1. Everyone is different. I'm trying to lose the 10lbs my doctor wants me to lose before surgery. I can't lose on a 1200 calorie a day diet. I'm thinking of doing a liquid diet even though my doctor doesn't require it because it may be the only way I can get this weigh to shift at all.
  2. Let us know how it goes. Good luck! Katie
  3. Hi I was in a similar place but last visit got scared that they wouldn't do the surgery if I didn't lose. I suddenly realized I was just going to have to be hungry. It feels terrible but I'm using it as a reminder that I'm working toward being smaller and that's a good thing! Good luck! Katie
  4. Thanks! This so reasurring! I'm scheduled for Band to Sleeve revision next month and I know I can do it but it will be so much easier without the cravings and the hunger! Katie
  5. Hello, Just got my date today. August 17th! Katie
  6. Congratulations! Hopefully by the time you might actually be tempted by those food you will be steadily losing and it won't be worth it. I haven't had my surgery yet. Still waiting for a date so I have no idea if this is helpful but I would say: focus on appreciating not being in pain and not being hungry. Occupy your mind with planning out what liquids you will have each hour tomorrow, maybe. Good luck.
