Done!

Well surgery is done and I am home now.

Such a weird feeling.

The nausea and 'spun out' feeling I am getting is my only real issue. Just want to feel normal. But of course I won't.

Having a hard time drinking water/juice, but I love sucking ice cubes.

The other crazy thing I am going through is smelling yummy foods and just getting so down - I am not hungry and would never ever want/need foods, obviously at this early stage, but I am struggling to know I CANNOT eat. Weird....

Any advice?

Thanks

Congratulations! Hopefully by the time you might actually be tempted by those food you will be steadily losing and it won't be worth it.

I haven't had my surgery yet. Still waiting for a date so I have no idea if this is helpful but I would say: focus on appreciating not being in pain and not being hungry. Occupy your mind with planning out what liquids you will have each hour tomorrow, maybe.

Good luck.
