He is my doctor and I think he is great.

When I hit my frist goal of 175 I got a tattoo on my leg. I always wanted one so it helped me to stay on track and get to goal.

I was feeding my dogs dinner and saw that they eat twice as much as me.

Mine was when I found out I had some major back problems and the extra hundred pounds was not helping. So one day soon after that in the shower I was washing my fat body and I burst into tears feeling very lost because I have tried every diet out there for the last 10 years with no luck. So that day in the shower was a turning point in my life. That afternoon I started the million of hours of research on weight loss surgery. I had my lap band put in on Jan 10th, and have lost 55lbs. Thanks to the Good Lord Above!!!! Amen

I was banded in Jan-08 and I have lost 42lb also. I think we are right where we need to be.

I went to a public swimming pool yesterday with my 11 yr old and had on a bathing suit for the frist time with out a shirt covering me up. My biggest victory yet.

I am looking for some good healthy summer recipes. :confused_smile:

I feel like I hit a wall over the past week or two my weight loss has really slowed down. My doc is 40 miles away. I have a full time job so it is hard to just stop by the docs office for problems like ours. hang in there

It did sort of hurt. My docter numbed my side then put the needle in the port and made me drink water until I felt tightness. That part didn't hurt but after I was sore on my side for a few days.

I had my 2nd fill on Tues of this week I can't feel much restriction. My docter said it should last about three week. I feel like I can eat every few hours. Has anybody ever felt this way. Thanks for your input.
