  3. First off you shouldn't be having any solids whatsoever, you just had major stomach surgery. As far as I know you should be in a liquid diet for at least 2 weeks. Let your stomach heel. Second of all everyone is different. But sounds like you have dumping syndrome from eating Pasta. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. As of 7/29 I'm down 20lbs still trying to retrain myself to eat slower! Otherwise doing really good so far. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  12. I had surgery on 6/29 gastric sleeved @ Mass General Hospital . I went to my 2 week post up appt with surgeon and nutritionist. So far I'm one of the lucky ones that haven't had any issues, no nausea, nor pain. She said I can pretty much each eat any food and fruit , but to be smart and use my common sense on what I'm eating. No fried food, no breads, Pasta, nor rice. And try to avoid fruit and veggies with skins. But to definitely try veggies and other food that I may tolerate. And eat my Protein first since my stomach is so small. Just wondering if any one had same diet? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. Ronny1 I had my 2 week check up on the 7/12, I was a a full liquid diet for 2 weeks and now on an a try something different every day except no breads, Pasta or rice. Most importantly no fried foods!!! Go slow and use common sense on what you eat! I have a couple rough days but it's getting better. One day at a time!!! Good luck to you too! 18. @@4u2nvyme I'm on post day 5 too I will say I really wish I would had my surgery earlier in the month or next week, 4th of July has sucked for me everyone is eating delicious food, and I'm over here sipping on a Protein shake, I did try a pit of potato salad I had a lick and let me tell you it tasted so good!! But it will be worth it at the end! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  19. @@MarieLouise I think drinking the liquid from gumbo or stew may work, except you may get the runs, but good source of Protein. I'm on POD 5 and had some beef stew liquid I did pretty good sipping it except a little later I got the runs, maybe it was to rich for me. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
