  1. Cruise is January 22. Pushing for surgery no later than week of the 13th. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  2. Lol. It was a little vague huh! I am hoping for no issues that would affect the cruise. I am pretty healthy and in fact do boot camp.....so hoping for quick healing which I am prone to and have had many surgeries. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  3. That was the one thing that discouraged me with weight watchers. Even though it was about the whole person approach, and I LOVED that, the final JUDGMENT was the scale. I would have a spot on week and have a gain. Other weeks I would halfway track and exercise AT it and lose 3 lbs. I have got to look beyond the scale and look at health numbers like blood pressure and cholesterol numbers and see clothes fitting differently. Once I see that, the scale won't have as much control. 4. Why has it been so long if you don't mind me asking? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  5. I have had this trip planned and paid for since January and I am not gonna miss it. BUT....with my insurance requirements I have to do 6 months of bariatric counseling. First session is today. HOPING to fast track it so early December surgery. The reason I am pushing for pre trip is my company's business is much slower so my sales impact is minimal plus the out of pocket for me this year will be minimal! Thoughts? 6. I like the thought of the balloon too but that is only designed for small amounts of weight. I am pursuing the sleeve add that seems to make the most sense with much less risk. Everyone I have talked to that had had it day they wish they had done it sooner. Don't let life pass you by being miserable. I am 54 and ready to live another 50 post op. 7. I am hoping for December but really gonna have to push them. Cruise the end of January so tight time frame. What part of the country are you in? I love Camp Gladiator! Don't be shy to go. It is truly a family and all skillets are welcome. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  8. Oh....no surgery yet. I am just starting the counseling now. Hopefully December Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  9. I already do a boot camp called Camp Gladiator. Due to my size and a hiatal hernia there are several things I can't do. But, our one hour workouts will yield a 900+ calorie burn. Will the low calorie diet leave me in a depleted state? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  10. What if I do everything right in preparing for surgery and get denied by insurance? Had that happened before? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  11. My insurance requires 6 months of documented supervised proof of weight loss attempts. I need to schedule surgery late November. Suggestions? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
