  9. Your protein intake is really set on different levels for different people I guess. Bcus my doctor and dietitian told me that 90 grams of protein is too much for me pre op. Now post op it is fine Bcus our body changes for life then. Your protein intake is really set on different levels for different people I guess. 10. I am African American and I love seafood pasta. But I found many ways on pintrest to cook low fat and low carbs pasta. I had to Bcus I love cooking it and eating it. My kids and boyfriend love it as well. I don't do it as much. But I'm wondering if I will even eat it or want it after surgery Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
  11. I will find out tomorrow or today if I lost when I get on the scale. But to me I think I didn't. If so the reason could have only been becus I was taking in too much Protein then the dietitian told me to take in. But I have one week left to get back on track. Trust me I will and thanks to you all for the support and encouragement. Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
  12. That's too much protein for me!!! Only because men build more muscle mass then a woman. My protein intake is only 70 grams per day. I had forgotten about it and was drinking 90 only becus I switched to premiere protein. I think that was the cause of me not losing. So back to chocolate high protein slim fast Water and broth and bye bye premiere protein. Thanks for the advice though;-) Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
  13. Thanks and I know its about reducing the fatty around my liver. But also it was suppose to make me lose weight as well. The dietitians stated that I should lose about 10 to 15 pounds doing the 2 week diet. Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App

  17. I'm glad you posted this Bcus my monthly reminder will be down the day of my surgery as well. I suffer with bad cramps as well. Wondering what to take or wait it out. But hopefully it won't be as bad Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
  18. I hope it don't change I have came too far to be set back. Like I know better.... The dietitian classes I took for six months was for this. Omg I am so disappointed with myself. But thanks and I will start doing a pure liquid diet no Jello no pudding just Protein and water Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App Good strategy. I don't think that getting 90 vs 70 is going to be a big problem so long as there was no other calories from sugars, starches or junk. If it was simply getting a bit more protein due to brand changes and all other macros remained the same.....I'll bet you are fine. Protein and water will certainly have the weight coming off. Thanks B-) Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
  19. I wouldn't think it would matter. For my pre-op diet, the only thing my surgeon was concerned about was that I didn't have any starches or sugars. Protein and fats were not limited. As a matter of fact he encouraged us to eat a lot of protein. Thanks and hopefully when I talk to him tomorrow it won't matter Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App

  22. Speak to your NUT. Your team must say what's right for YOU. I'm told to take in 100g of Protein Post Op but to try and get the protein in Now too. I will call her first thing in the morning. But she strictly prohibited me to take in that much protein. I think my surgery date will change Sent from my Z958 using the BariatricPal App
