  4. I'm glad you all told me these things. I am one who will follow the rules and not do what is not to be done like lifting heavy objects. The doctor I have did my gallbladder so I trust him.   5. Ok I have been open about my surgery (gastric bypass) and people know at least one person who has had it. One lady I spoke to knows a woman who can't eat solids and it's been two years! Then another was a man his staple was put in a wrong place and popped open... Is there always something bad going to happen or are these normal issues to some? Do they happen a lot?   7. I don't see where you can find what you want to ask bc there are a million posts with a million answers. So why not make a new one that is subjected to yourself! Basically don't be snotty just bc you see a repeat and I think if you do then your in the wrong tab! Bc I look at this daily and I don't see repeats by different people usually it's the same post from days ago bc someone new posted on it...   12. Yes I'm very open about getting mine done and I have had many people complement. But somehow I think they think I'm not as heavy as I am...I had to lose 20 pounds before I have surgery and one girl was like wouldnt you be 270 or something and I was like no! Lol I'll still be in the 300's haha ... I just laugh and smile at what ppl say.. Call them out but not infront of others that way it's not trashy like . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  14. I have got a lot of things like sippy cups bc I'm one that ends up getting three sips rather then one. Little food containers and ect. But what kind of Protein do you buy? And what brand?   17. My granny knew a lady who got gastric bypass and drank she ended up dying but it was a every other day thing for her.... So idk it really doesn't seem worth it to me if you are with your friends you haven't seen you shouldn't need a drink bc there are so many things to talk and laugh about, shouldn't need a push to do it Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Don't just stop the medication put it in your Water, Protein drink, soft foods so many options! a few weeks ago I lost my grandma and never dreamed of the day, but Ik how that feels to see her decline. Just do what you can and don't worry about your sister she will be the one who will live with the fact she wasn't there,not you... But get back on your meds so you can see the light again, being in a funk is never fun I know that Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  23. Waiting for Tuesday so my doctors office can send off my paper work to the insurance company. Hope to hear back from them in a few weeks. But until then I will be getting everything all ready for a successful surgery Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
