it's weird I'm 3 days out and don't feel the need for the pain meds. Only pain right now is the incisions which are also starting to be itchy ( don't know if it's the scaring or the tape over it but the area is itchy right now.)

Did anyone experience blisters after surgery I woke up with on massive blister (size of a regular bandaid ) under a bicep. Doctor says it's probably a reaction to some bandage chemical, but I did not get any bandage around there. I poked it to flush it, but now it just keeps refilling with Fluid.

Wish Perrier was aloud. would resolve half of my issue.. one big burp not tinny ones

So my surgery was Monday (june 27) at 10pm. and even though I sip sip sip and walk. all I seem to do is burp. will I ever fart I feel like the major pressure in my stomach is my inability to pass gas. Also my nurse told me not to use Gas x yet .

Just got home from the clinic. Pain is tolerable. for some reason I ended up with a few huge blisters (the size of a band-aid) on one arm and on my stomach. Dr. think i Must be allergic to one of the adhesive in the bandages. I wish I could just let one loud burb out that is the only discomfort I have so far. Oh and I'm starting to feel my incisions sting. But hang in there.. getting up and out of bed still the worst.

So I was scheduled for sleeve @ 10:15 but one anesthesiologist called in sick so they postponed my surgery to around 6 pm tonight. But they put an IV in but in my right (good) arm. How am i supposed to whipe if i go to the bathroom... grrrrrrr. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using the BariatricPal App

I just went for the juiciest steak ever. but stopped eating the minute I felt full. (gotta get use to that)

I am freaking nervous too. I'm cranky, crying for no reason. been cleaning the house today. gonna go get the last little things for my trip to the clinic. but definitly freaking out. havent slept all night last night..

I didn't even know about the cath. I'm the kind of girl who gets embarrassed easily (ego I guess) had a pre-op gastroscopy last week and was so embarrased with the way I burped so long and loud when the doctor pulled the camera out

you did not check under the bed??? you never know. they know closets is the first place people check out.:-)

on the table we only wear hospital gown and underwear? thinking a g-string might be not best for the occasion ;-p

I am a very curious person and since my surgery is next Monday I was curious about the procedure how it's done etc. So of course youtube as all the live video answers you need, but that just made me nervous even more. My mind is over reacting with all horror movies scenario and stuff I've seen. trying to take deep breaths to relax. Somehow rethinking my choice. That's a normal step right???

Just got my surgery time for next Monday June 27th at 10:15 AM :-) yeahhhhh !!!! Stomach knows something's about to go down.. been doing weird noises for the past two days. :-)

also getting surgery on the 27.. I only get to be on liquid diet the day before surgery.. going throught that food funeral thing also. Tomorrow is my last pre-test before surgery getting a little more nervous..

I am also June 27. Are you on liquids yet. I started Sunday. Doc doesnt require me to be on liquid diet .. only 24 hours before surgery.

. Can it be any type of liquid protein? I'm still trying to finish my gym protein bucket (cookie &cream) will it do it's got 25g of protein per scoop?

I'm sick of paying for fat girl clothes. which is 3 times the price of regular clothes in many stores around here regulare dull t-shirt can be 50$ in these stores. and I just want to be able to look in the mirror and stop saying that I look like pig and no one will ever want me. I want to love myself again.
