  2. I had an endoscopy on May 23 and the same thing...diagnosed with ulcers. They did a biopsy and I go back on June 2 forthe results. I was concerned that this would get me a denial but more concerned about what caused the ulcers. I am not a drinker but for on a rare social occassion. I have taken my share of NSAIDS in my life for menstral pain though. I also read that it could come from the H-Pylori bacteria. I pray that all comes back good and I can get approved for the surgery. Good luck with your approval as well.
  3. Wow thanks a bunch. I am now on Pepcid and will likely be on that at least through this approval process and perhaps for life as well;, we'll have to see. Happy to hear that it did not affect your insurance approval. Congrats on your weight loss.

  5. Hello. I'm new to the community and just had my endoscopy done today in preparation for my revision from Band to RNY. The result shows that I have ulcers I have to go back in a week to get the results of the biopsy but I am curious to know if anyone out there was diagnosed with ulcers during the pre-op screenings and if it affected your ability to be cleared for weight loss surgery?
