  2. Popsicles, Jello and pureed Soups. I make my Protein shake with carnation instant Breakfast essentials, 1%milk and vanilla Protein powder. Sometimes i add decaffeinated instant coffee or cinnamon or nutmeg. There is an app for the nutribullet worn tons of shake recipes. Hope this helps!! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  3. I'm over 3 weeks out and my largest incision still hurts when i move a certain way. I think it's getting worse. The pain is sort of spreading to my belly button. Sneezing is horrible. I've called my surgeons office twice and they said it was part of the healing but I'm concerned because it's not improving and sometimes it seems worse... 11. Update: I lost 6 more pounds! Thanks for the encouragement and advice everyone!! I think I'm more mentally prepared for the ups and downs. I'm gonna stick to my plan and only weigh myself once a week. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  12. That's normal i was the same. They used gas to blow up your belly so they could see, or sux for like 3-4 days. Walking helps. It must stopped hurting to swallow my pills like yesterday, I'm almost 3 weeks out. I ended up in the hospital am extra day because i was retching when i tried to swallow anything. It sucked. It gets better. I hope sooner than later for you Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App *it, just Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  21. The problem i have with sugar free is that artificial sugar makes you crave real sugar, also your body can't digest artificial sugar and i read a study that said substituting artificial sugar for regular sugar doesn't have any impact on ppl w. DM. I have been getting no sugar added or reduced sugar stuff and I'm happy with it Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  22. Girl me too. I can't get 3 in a day typically but i try. I try to add coffee and spices to make change it up, i finally got noon flavored Protein powder so i cam just add it in my food. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  23. I think they are less than 200 kcal. My mother in law makes me a lot of pureed dishes but i stick to my 1/2 Cup servings Cuz i feel sick if i try to push it. My meals are typically 150-200kcal. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  24. I can only take 1/2 Cup (4oz) of anything at a time (every few hours) Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  25. Idk, maybe the shakes? I can barely eat so it must be. Today i had 710 calories, burned 490 walking Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
  26. You are putting you're life in there hands. If you are not 100% confident in the team or the process you absolutely need to go elsewhere. Surgery is a small part, you need structure and support, this seems to be lacking at your current clinic. This isn't a quick day surgery, this is a complete lifestyle change. You have every right to be fully informed and mentally prepared for this. It doesn't sound as if these people are concerned with anything but getting you in and getting your $$. Please do research and consider going elsewhere. Good luck to you! Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App

  28. I think it's because of the decrease in nutrients. We're essentially starving ourselves. I'm terrified about losing my hair. I love my hair! I've been taking Biotin from day one hoping it'll help. Sent from my SM-G935V using the BariatricPal App
