Birth Control After Sleeve
I am trying to find the best birth control option after my sleeve. I don't want to take the pill due to the increased risk of blood clots and I have no experience with the IUD. I certainly don't want anything that will cause weight gain either Any suggestions??? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Pain
I am 3 weeks post op and up until today have been feeling great. I haven't used any pain medication since the first week and have been walking 1-2 mikes/day with no problems. All of the sudden today my stomach is tender and I get random sharp pains when I move wrong. There are no other symptoms and I am not having any issues with my puréed diet. Any thoughts? Weight Loss
When determining how much you have lost post op, do you base it on hospital admission weight? Or hospital discharge weight. For example: 5/23 weight: 244 6/20 admission weight: 227 6/21 discharge weight: 237 6/29 weight: 218 So based on admission weight I have lost 9lbs and based on discharge weight I have lost 19lbs. I know in the long run it doesn't matter at all, I am bored to death sitting at home and my mind tends to wander hahaha. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Feeling Down
I was trying Premier Protein. Maybe I should switch to a non dairy product. I do have some Isopure so I will try that more often. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Feeling Down
I was sleeved on 6/20 and up until today I have been feeling pretty good. I made it through the gas pains, spasms, and incision pain. Just when I think it's finally looking up Protein shakes make me feel sick. I haven't been nauseous at all until today when it happened both times I drank my shake. I'm just feeling kind of blah I know it will get better and I don't regret the sleeve, I just don't know how the heck to get all my protein in now. Any suggestions? Incision Pain
@@4mybabies I love this group too!!! It is nice to have others going through the same feelings. Fingers crossed we get through this fast. I did try the pillow and it helps for sure! @@heidikat72 I definitely need to remember this was major surgery. Other than this one incision, I feel great so it is easy to think everything should be healing faster. Hope you start feeling better! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Water intake
1) I am 5 days post op. I don't really know how much I can drink on an empty stomach. 2) I have been able to meet the required 64oz of Water since the day after surgery, but it is definitely a full time job. 3) I am not drinking water while I am eating. 4) I have not noticed a change in the taste of water, however it is easier for me to drink room temperature water than cold. 5) On day 1 post op, it was a 10 in difficulty getting all the water in. Now on day 5 I would say it's a 7 in difficulty so while it is still hard, it is getting easier! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
