  4. Where do you guys go is you eat out? I'm thinking that I will end up being expensive (being an adult) and not eat much. My husband and I and our families love going out. I want to make sure that I'm still eating, but I want to be able to have just a couple bites and not have to take it all home. It's not a REAL HUGE concern, but just something I thought about! My surgeon said that a lot of times spouses lose weight too, but in my case, I think my husband will end up gaining bc he will be finishing my plate! ... "Are ya gonna finish that?" Haha Where do you go/what do you eat? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. I have my psych evaluation on Tuesday May 31 and he said it'll be about an hour and we will go over 175 questions and a standard interview. What kind of questions can I expect? I have a degree in psychology so I understand what they are looking for, but 175 questions!? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. One of my concerns for post op is having my puppy jumping on my. He sleeps with us (hold the comments) and sometimes will get up in the morning really excited and jump. I was thinking of taking him to grandmas (she watched him if we go out of town and be loved it there) but I really don't want her knowing about the surgery. If I tell her it's just abdominal surgery, she'll get all into it and want to know details. Advice? Here's a visual Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  13. I just got back from my consultation with my surgeon. He approved me for surgery and gave me a name of a psychologist for my evaluation. He submitted my info to insurance so as soon as the psychologist approves me, i will get my date set! I called my insurance and they are taking about 4 days now for approvals. (I've never had BCBS take more than a day or two for an approval). My psych eval is Tuesday May 31, so HOPEFULLY it will get scheduled ASAP! He estimated the first week of July! CRAZY! Also, he said he does not use drains - AWESOME news. He also will keep me in the hospital for 3 days, which is also awesome!
