  2. Some people don't understand that the struggle is real. I've been a yo-yo dieter my entire adult life and this is the absolute last resort for me. It amazes me how people know my body better than i do. They tell me that I don't need the surgery!!!!! Yeah they know my body better than my doctor and I. Ok rant over thanks for listening. 5. You take care of yourself first and worry about recovery. In my opinion, they'll probably do fine while you are away. You just concentrate on healing. Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App

  13. Finally after six months of dietician appts.and all the other things that go along with it I have set a date for my surgery. August 15th is the big day (I could have scheduled it for June 20th but there's graduation in june and vacation in july)so I scheduled it in August right before my other vacation. I feel a sense of relief and joy. I've been over weight for so long. I can't wait to feel normal again. I can't wait to leave my house and not feel ashamed of what I look like. I can't wait to shop for normal sizes. I just can't wait???? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
  14. I work for the state so I have pretty good insurance bcbs. I've done my psychological visit, sleep study (found out I have sleep apnea) ultrasound (check my gallbladder) and six months worth of dietician appointments ( at the end of this month)then I see the surgeon to schedule my surgery. It actually went by pretty fast. I was just wondering how long it takes to get to the surgery so I can schedule my vacation Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App
