  1. Yes. I have hashimotos and had sleeve April 28. I was approved since my thyroid was in control with meds. I am experiencing"hunger" which other posters are not and I have a sneaking suspicion it's my thyroid disease and "dead" metabolism Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. Yes. You are not alone. My surgery was April 28 and I too lost 20 lbs so far. I am depressed if I am alone or not at work. So stay busy doing things you love. I told my husband and son they have to cook for themselves until I am on regular food. Not sure if you can do that but I strongly suggest it. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. Yes! I am one week post op. Neither the nutritionist or the surgeon understood or believed me. I am ravenous. The liquid diet is not satisfying but of course I am sticking to it so as not to ruin my stitches. I am very upset that so few people who had the sleeve report this phenomenon.
